I bought this plane from Hobby Tron for my Son’s Birthday. When he got the plane he was so happy, but when he got everything together the plane did not work; so he sent it back and got another one. When he go the seconed plane it to didn’t work, the contoller did not charge the battery at all. If I was you I would not wast my time and money on buying this product or shopping on Hobby Tron.

This airplane just won’t stay in the air, the motor become powerless quickly after few slow circles in the air.(so it dives down quickly) Another problem is the airplane is not responsive enough to the remote control, it feels like you have to hold the remote control stick for a long time then it starts to turn in the air. I would say this kind of quality is only worth about $20 but I paid almost $50 for it.

The airplane is a grate plane for begenners who want to start flying. it is durable and verry easy to fly. If you do happen to break the plane it is pretty easy to fix. I don’t recomend flying it in winds over 5-7mph. battery life is about 10 to 15 min. the plane won’t take off from the ground so i recomend hand launching it. For the price of the plane i beleave i got my moneys worth. All and all i beleave it is a good buy.

This plane was a blast and super easy to fly. It, like most, takes a little preflight work to assure it last through the inevitable crashes that will come with flying. You need to do the following and then toss it into the air and fly away:

1-tape all the wings with light , wide packing tape

2-check the wing-tail alignment

3-assure that you turn on the transmitter then the plane.

I did the above and although I have had many a rough landing it has held together remarkably well and flys great. I am well into 100 plus flights and still going.

With S&H this plane cost me $50, and that is expensive considering I flew the plane for 30 sec before it crashed on a grassy field and the back rudder broke. I should have guessed from the instructions that this was going to be a cheap product–although it says easy to assemble, I basically had to guess most of the steps as the instructions are useless. My suggestion: don’t but this plane! Cheapest toy I’ve come across and even if you manage to get to fly it, it will last you maybe 30 sec before something breaks. Save your money!

The plane is a good, tough plane but my charger did not work so I had to use another one that I got of the same voltage. and the landing gear fell of on one of the first flights. It is not neccessary to have landing gear if you land it in long grass though. Over all good product.

This helicopter is a ton of fun. I’ve never flown any kind of RC before and so I ended up crashing this helicopter into all kinds of obstacles. The best part of it is that the rotor folds up when it gets obstructed and so no permanent damage is done to the rotor blades when you crash. I love this product, I would definitely recommend it for a first time flyer.

It flies, for a few seconds. The battery only lasts about 10 or 15 seconds before being unable to deliver the copter enough power to get off the ground. This prevents you from actually getting the hang of controlling it, let alone enjoying flying it. I must say that when it drops like rock from lack of power it has avoided damage, so I will say it is durable. I’m going to use this thing for parts and save my money for a better “copter”, I suggest you do the same.

I would not buy this again.

Right out of the box the frame was croocked and the left landing skid was taller then the right side. The tail boom was crooked to add to the misery. The rear rotor blade touched the ground. The engineer never took into granite that with added weight you need more power and a stronger battery life. Within three minutes the battery was fully drained. The operation range is less then fifty feet and the flight altitude is very limited. Spend more money and purchase the double horsepower dragonfly helicopter. This helicopter is worth less then the box that it was shipped in.

I am experienced with RC planes… therefor I should have known better than to purchase one when it was on special in a local retailer about a year ago, alas, the price over ruled my logic.

I brought it home, read the (short) manual, tested it in place and adjusted the trim so it wouldn’t spin as much. Then, I attempted it’s maiden flight. It rose about 3 feet, and began to tilt in an arclike fashion. Since there were no side-to-side controls, I could not direct it out of it’s tilt, I watched helplessly as it rose to about 5 feet and by then was flying at a 90 degree angle to the ground. I cut the power hoping to save it. It landed on the grass and the rotor shattered.

I returned it because it was obviously defective, but I had to argue with the managers for a while because they assumed I just was an idiot and crashed it due to inexperience.

Maybe some do work, but mine was definitely flawed and it’s construction leaves a bit to be desired as well (given the propensity for crashing)

My son bought this and it flies great. But you cant go too high because if you do you will lose control and crash. It broke in the cover of the front, Broke in the tail twice, and in the tail adjuster. It still flies fine, but Hes a terrible helicopter flyer, so yours could last longer because you may be better than me when It comes to flying, He already broke his B-52 r/c plane in the first 20 seconds of the fisrt flight,He blamed it on the wind!!!!!!!!!LOL

It arrives well packaged in a Semi-knocked down condition. As you start assebling it.. the thermocol parts already stuck with glue start falling apart. The manufacturers have anticipated this and have supplied a small tube of Glue… but the tube contains dried up glue… After a little effort and some fresh glue you get it all ready to fly and you realise.. it does not work…

Makes for a good showpeice or a Model to explain the kids the principles of flying and aviation.. expecting anything else.. would be dissapointment.

But the only thing keeping the plane grounded is that I haven’t gotten around to gluing it back together (wifes pregnant and I don’t want her around the glue)

It cant handle any wind over a slight breeze, tends to porpoise rather than climb, that can be over come by trimming it to fly a circle, and with enough height it can even do some basic stunts. It is not the easiest plane to master, not for indoors or a back yard (less than an acre) but for $25 is great fun.

This plane is very durable yet it has very little power and no stability. The first time i used it, it flew straight into the ground. When you try to turn, it banks sharply into the ground. there is no control on this plane and it wont climb, turn, or even land properly. I would recommend buying a different rc airplane with more power and more control/stability.

Ok, so we got one of these little guys around a month or so ago. In that time its flown correctly one time, and by one time I mean one circle of our field about 1 minute in the air. That’s right about a minute worth of flight in around a month.

First problem with this thing is the landing gear wouldn’t snap into place like its suppose to. I had to physically shove it in the notch, which in turn pushed the bottom of the plane in on itself. Second problem is the plane’s durability. Yeah, I know for less than 50 what do you expect? Well, expect more than this will give you. First light crash (and I DO mean light, after a hand launch that lasted all of about 4 feet) it came down on its nose cone and nearly ripped it off. In addition to the nose the rotors are very easily broken.

My biggest problem with this model is the way the battery is charged. If you’ve ever flown a RC plane or heli you will be shocked by how primitive this is done for this battery. Plug it into the back of the controller, turn it on.. and wait for the battery to get hot. NO JOKE, thats how you’re suppose to know when to stop charging, by the temperature. Thats just not very safe.

The only way I’ve kept mine together at all in the past month is thanks to Elmer’s school glue. I’ve had to glob glue into cracks, holes in the foam, and even use it to keep the wings on the plane. If you buy this plan, no joke, buy some white school glue as you’ll need it.

This model cost us 45 dollars or so shipping and all. For just a little more you can pickup a 3 CH Air Hogs plane, or for 99.99 a “mini Super Cub” from a hobby store or online. If you want to fly an RC airplane, this isn’t the model you need. It looks “cool” sure, but it just doesn’t work. Save your pennies and for a little more you can get a better, bigger, and an easier to fly bird.
