I bought this plane from Hobby Tron for my Son’s Birthday. When he got the plane he was so happy, but when he got everything together the plane did not work; so he sent it back and got another one. When he go the seconed plane it to didn’t work, the contoller did not charge the battery at all. If I was you I would not wast my time and money on buying this product or shopping on Hobby Tron.

This airplane just won’t stay in the air, the motor become powerless quickly after few slow circles in the air.(so it dives down quickly) Another problem is the airplane is not responsive enough to the remote control, it feels like you have to hold the remote control stick for a long time then it starts to turn in the air. I would say this kind of quality is only worth about $20 but I paid almost $50 for it.

Ok, I normally don’t write product reviews but this one deserves some praise. The airplane is easy to fly and durable due to the type of foam, the lightness of the plane and the shape of the body and wings which are more structural than other planes we bought. My six year old son and I have a real good time with this in our backyard and the plane handles hitting the occasional tree, bush or other objects well not to mention a hard landing or two, three or more. And yes, it is still in one piece. This is much more than I can say when comparing to other planes we bought that were cheaply made or didn’t fly at all. The size and speed are perfect for yards although a little more room is nice if you want to do more acrobatic flights or for covering more distance. The twin engines are more than capable of powering this plane to do loops (full throttle), level flight (quarter throttle) and turns (the plane turns by varying the speed of the props). I was skeptical about the maneuverability of only using prop speed for control but was happily surprised on how agile the plane really is. The wings are configured for lift. The more power you apply the higher the plane will climb. You can get the plane pretty high too, cut the engines to produce a stall then get a cool nose dive where the plane’s wing shape automatically level it out for a nice glide approach. The charger is very convenient. Just open a door on the controller where a small cable is and plug it into the plane. It charges in under 10 minutes for about 15 minutes of flight. All in all,very satisfied with this airplane. Will probably be getting a second for my daughter so she and my son can fly at the same time.

Positives:

+Easy to fly

+Durable for a beginner

+Just the right size for neighborhood or small park flight

+Solid engine thrust and durable propellers

+Maneuverability

+The blinking lights are a great touch (the kids love it, especially when it gets a little dark!)

Negatives:

-I’ll write back when we discover one but in the meantime, my kids and I will continue to have many hours of fun with this airplane!

The airplane is a grate plane for begenners who want to start flying. it is durable and verry easy to fly. If you do happen to break the plane it is pretty easy to fix. I don’t recomend flying it in winds over 5-7mph. battery life is about 10 to 15 min. the plane won’t take off from the ground so i recomend hand launching it. For the price of the plane i beleave i got my moneys worth. All and all i beleave it is a good buy.

This plane was a blast and super easy to fly. It, like most, takes a little preflight work to assure it last through the inevitable crashes that will come with flying. You need to do the following and then toss it into the air and fly away:

1-tape all the wings with light , wide packing tape

2-check the wing-tail alignment

3-assure that you turn on the transmitter then the plane.

I did the above and although I have had many a rough landing it has held together remarkably well and flys great. I am well into 100 plus flights and still going.

With S&H this plane cost me $50, and that is expensive considering I flew the plane for 30 sec before it crashed on a grassy field and the back rudder broke. I should have guessed from the instructions that this was going to be a cheap product–although it says easy to assemble, I basically had to guess most of the steps as the instructions are useless. My suggestion: don’t but this plane! Cheapest toy I’ve come across and even if you manage to get to fly it, it will last you maybe 30 sec before something breaks. Save your money!

The plane is a good, tough plane but my charger did not work so I had to use another one that I got of the same voltage. and the landing gear fell of on one of the first flights. It is not neccessary to have landing gear if you land it in long grass though. Over all good product.

This plane, looked nice when i first got it out of the box, it was a snap to put it together, a few pieces of sticky tape already installed and 2 screws! And all you have to do is charge your battery which takes 3 hours but its way worth the fun! I was actually going to buy a new plane because i was really thinking i spent 50 dollars for nothing, but when i first started the motors, sounded a little under powered, so i found a big field with long grass, so if anything does go wrong, soft crash, but when i first threw it out of my hands, it was a beauty, This thing was awesome, i was flying near by a airport, not recommended but the same model plane was coming for a landing, i tried to follow the real plane with this, it was super fun, i usually fly 4-8 channel planes, but i said i need to give this a try, to recommend to my buddies or students! This is the one, after this plane, i say go for the mini or the full sized super cub by hobbyzone, it has a elevator so you will have pitch control as well!

I did a lot of research before I bought this plane and I am glad I did. The plan is well made except for one thing, the wings are held on by screws thha are too small and the first time I flew the plane it broke. So i went to the store and bought some double sided sticky tape and that works great.

I love to fly my plane. Oh and another thing invest in rechargeabke batteries.

This is the first model airplane I ever flew and I picked it up quickly. The Styrofoam is very easy to break but just as easy to fix with scotch tape. I fly this thing whenever I get the chance! Pretty sensetive to wind but very easy to control. Tap the controls to steer instead of holding them in, this is what everybody told me and it’s true. Superb value and I recommend it to anybody who wants to start flying RC airplanes!
